Design and Build Process

Preliminary Design

Design Selection and Enquiry

We’re always excited to gain insight into our clients’ vision and help bring your ideas to life through our resilient design solutions. Once you have selected one of our architectural designs and completed the enquiry form, we’ll contact you for a Free Virtual or In-person meeting to discuss the initial consultation and guide you through the building approval process.

Free Initial Consultation

During our initial consultation, we will walk you through an overview of the building approval process, covering key aspects such as timeframes and fee structures. We will also discuss any custom specifications you wish to incorporate in your project, ensuring that our resilient design solutions meet your needs.

Preliminary Agreement

After our initial consultation, if you decide to move forward, we enter a Preliminary Agreement. This agreement allows us to begin the building approval process by conducting initial investigations of your site. These investigations include collaborating with our external consultants, evaluating your site's zoning and overlays, as well as researching relevant Council regulations and State guidelines to provide resilient design solutions.

Design and Documentation

Creative Design Concept

After gaining clarity on your vision during the initial consultation and considering any site constraints, we provide you with a tailored creative design concept that aligns with your lifestyle and budget, along with resilient design solutions. Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll finalise the formal contract necessary for the building approval process before proceeding to the next stage.

Construction Certificate Documentation (BA)

Depending on the state your project is located in, we conduct an initial consultation with an Energy Assessment Consultant, BASIX, or NatHERS Consultant to determine the construction requirements of your site. From there, we oversee and coordinate the documentation necessary for the building approval process, such as a Construction Certificate, and produce working drawings based on the approved design drawings, implementing resilient design solutions for building approval.

Installation and handover

Connecting your builders

After the initial consultation and completion of the building approval process, we connect you with our licensed building partners and provide you with the necessary documentation and approvals for constructing your home. As you prepare to build, enjoy peace of mind in signing a contract with one of our preferred licensed builders, known for delivering resilient design solutions.

Installation

Construction then proceeds following our initial consultation, utilising custom resilient design solutions and materials specifically tailored to your home and site conditions. All of our materials are proven, measured, and tested, ensuring they meet the building approval process and global building compliance.

Installed, checked, yours!

Once the installation and final checks are complete, we’ll guide you through everything during the initial consultation, including your manuals, warranties, and specifications related to the building approval process. After that, it’s all yours, tailored with resilient design solutions.
